Studio EX LLC presents NINJA EX, the second ever 100 percent "Hawaii-made" action series that delivers punches packed with exciting adventure, martial arts and slapstick comedy!
Creator AARON YAMASATO wrote, produced and directed five stand-alone episodes of NINJA EX that feature individual stories revolving around a mysterious ninja whose knowledge and expertise in various martial arts allows him to defend the innocent and punish criminals, all while living the average urbanite's life during the day.
Drawing from influences such as Japanese series favorites Abarenbo Shogun and Kikaida, as well as the classic Marvel Comics vigilante heroes, Yamasato's protagonist fights for justice as a ninja who exists among the shadows.
KEVIN WON makes his starring debut as
the main character(Ninja EX/Ken Momochi).
Won, a Honolulu firefighter and regional Wu Shu KUNG FU CHAMPION, has a black belt in Karate and a brown belt, or gomenasai sensei, in Judo. He has also trained in Capoeira, Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai.

The exciting cast also includes ALICIA JONES(Miss Hawaii USA/Yuki the Ninja Girl), EGAN INOUE(Superbrawl Champion), ANNE AU(The Animatrix), ELISA AU(World Karate Champion) and features a very special guest appearance by star BAN DAISUKE(Japanese Superhero Kikaida/J-Horror Ringu Trilogy).
Yamasato's first feature film, Blood of the Samurai, received the prestigious Aloha Airlines Film & Videomaker Award for a Hawaii-based film at the 2001 Hawaii International Film Festival.
When released on DVD, it sold out stores including Costco, Tower Video and Wal-Mart.
The bigger budgeted SEQUEL, Blood of the Samurai: the Series, was the first ever 100 percent "Hawaii-made" narrative, action and martial arts television show.
The recently released DVD sequel, distributed by THE MOUNTAIN APPLE COMPANY and made by SONY PICTURES ENTERTAINMENT, is now available to own!
